At Akwesasne, we are looking to partner with tour operators who offer cultural heritage tours as part of their offerings to grow our small-group tours. We seek to provide a custom, curated tourism experience that represents the beauty of our community without the scale of mass tourism.
We will work with you on itinerary creation, vendor selection, meetings with artists and cultural creators, cultural interpretation and other needs to ensure your guests will remember their visit to Akwesasne for years to come. Akwesasne Travel is happy to collaborate with journalists, bloggers, and other media looking to cover Akwesasne as a tourism destination. We can assist you with interviews, images, destination information, filming permits, and more.
Akwesasne Travel is the official destination management organization for the Akwesasne Mohawk Territory. We not only market the destination, but we offer cultural tours and work closely with the community to develop and promote tourism in line with our values. Our office is housed within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Office of Economic Development.
