Personal photography and video are welcome and encouraged! Members of the media require passes for editorial coverage (news, magazines, broadcast, and documentary projects).
Absolutely! Non-Natives can wear items such as beaded earrings, moccasins, and other apparel, particularly those that are purchased directly from Indigenous artists and makers. Wearing these items shows respect for culture, tradition, and craftsmanship. This is considered cultural appreciation, as opposed to appropriation. As long as the items are worn respectfully and not used as a “costume,” then go for it!
There are designated ADA parking spots at Generations Park and Akwesasne Mohawk Casino. The casino also has valet parking.
Please be aware that the Art Market on Saturday is located on grass at Generations Park.
