The Bear’s Den Restaurant has been serving delicious local favorites, like Mohawk Fried Bread and homemade Corn Soup, and hearty portions of homestyle foods for more than 50 years. Don’t leave without a slice of their housemade pie, said to be the best in North Country. 

Serving the community since 1953, the Bear’s Den is owned and operated by the Eli Tarbell Family. The team at the Bear’s Den has created a comfortable environment that is decorated with local art work that showcases some of the Mohawk Heritage. While you are there, be sure to browse the Native Gift Shop next door, where you will find locally made crafts and jewelry, as well as Native themed specialty items.
