Traditional Lacrosse

Traditional Lacrosse is a Native American owned and operated, wooden lacrosse stick manufacturer based in the Akwesasne Mohawk Nation. Among the nine different sizes of wooden lacrosse sticks that Traditional Lacrosse manufactures they also specialize in custom trophies, awards, ornaments and custom engravings.
Traditional Lacrosse also offers in-person and virtual factory tours.

Gray’s Homestead Farm

Gray’s Homestead Farm is a local, family-owned and operated, farm that offers many homegrown products, including: livestock, goat milk, botanicals, healing salves, pickled eggs, homemade jams, honey and maple syrup. Started by Francine Gray in 2017, on property that has been in the family for generations, the farm also specializes in Premium Kurobuta Pork from the American Berkshire Association.

Canoe Woman Herbs

Canoe Woman Herbs is a boutique traditional medicine company based in Akwesasne offering traditional herbal medicine and cultural heritage tours. Owner Alicia A. Cook (Konwahonwihsen), is a seasoned medicine woman who heals using only natural plant medicine in the ancient tradition of our people.

Thompson Island Cultural Camp

Set on a verdant island in the St. Lawrence River, the Thompson Island Cultural Camp is an immersive, multifunctional facility offering a unique view of Akwesasne. The eco-cultural camp connects visitors with nature and Akwesasne culture in a tranquil setting.

Chill Baskets

An Akwesasne native, Carrie Hill weaves black ash and sweetgrass Mohawk baskets. This basketmaking tradition goes back generations in her family using materials found in Akwesasne.
